Grand Canyon, Arizona

The main Grand Canyon airport (GCN) - an easy trek by taxi or shuttle to the main park entrance.		  


It's hard to see from a photo just how BIG the Grand Canyon is. But from an airplane the view is spectacular.

 

Sunset brings out the warm colors in the red rock.		  
The Marble Canyon airport (L41) is situated at the northeast end of the canyon and is situated next to a restaurant and motel - the only services for many, many miles.
